Welcome / Willkommen / Bienvenidos

Welcome to Escuela para Chile!

Chile has suffered tremendously from the earthquake of February 27th in the south of the country.
The Chilean government is mainly focusing on fixing streets and public buildings, to get things going and to provide
every region with a minimum of supplies. Unfortunately, smaller villages are not the focus of this aid. With this project,
we want to make a small contribution to the recovery of such areas. We are adopting a mid-term strategy,
investing all of the money you are contributing into a project related to education.

Below, you can view several pictures which illustrate the gravity of the situation in the villages of Pelluhe and Curanipe.
They were taken by my aunt last weekend.

Please be aware that the full amount of money you donate to our project is guaranteed to reach the respective schools.
We will pay for all the administrative and transaction costs.

If you have any questions drop us an email to escuelaenchile@gmail.com

Milestone 1

Much has happened since the last update. We didnt update the blog for some time because it was an extremely busy month of May including hospital, exams and bachelor-thesis' to survive and finish. Nevertheless we are back on track and more motivated than ever! Before I let the pictures do the talking about what happend and why we are so motivated, I would like to thank all of you for your help! We reached the first big milestone and successfully installed the first school in the south of Chile. A special thank goes to the 4. class of the School in Lohn-Ammannsegg. The kids sold cakes and biscuits to raise money for the school in Chile. The initiative came directly from the kids, not from the teachers. Another big thank's goes out to my grandmother "Yuyo" ()who was herself at the contruction side helping to build up the school.
Now it is important to continue as we started, therefore we are in this moment planning a big event in end of August. Update will follow soon. For questions or comments please send us an email to escuelaenchile@gmail.com.
